FreelancerFlow vs Dubsado

Dubsado is a deep, well-loved client-management platform for creative service businesses, and for many people it's a good product. This page is an honest comparison — including the places where Dubsado is ahead of us today — so you can decide with real numbers instead of marketing.

Honest status note: FreelancerFlow is now live. We're personally onboarding our first founding members by email (abdulazeem3255@gmail.com) — there is no self-serve checkout yet, and the whole app can be clicked through as a live demo with sample data, free, right now. If you need a mature production tool with automations, payments and integrations this week, Dubsado is still the safer pick today. If you like the flat-price idea, try the demo and judge the product itself.

Dubsado is probably better for you if…

  • You want automated workflows running your whole client journey
  • You need live online payments, payment plans or autopay today
  • You want deeply branded forms, portals and multi-brand accounts
  • You want a product with a decade of production history

FreelancerFlow may fit better if…

  • You're solo and your week is proposals → contracts → booking → time → invoices
  • You book calls every week but don't want to pay $55/month for a scheduler
  • You'd rather start in two minutes than spend a week configuring workflows

Questions

Is FreelancerFlow a full Dubsado alternative?+

For a solo freelancer whose week is proposals, contracts, invoices, booking calls and tracking time — that is exactly the ground FreelancerFlow covers, for one flat $19/month instead of Dubsado's $35/month Starter. If you rely on Dubsado's automated workflows, deep form customization, branded client portals, live payments or its integrations today, Dubsado remains the more complete product for now, and this page says so plainly.

Why does scheduling cost $55 on Dubsado?+

Dubsado's Starter plan ($35/month, or $335/year) covers contracts, invoices, forms and client portals — but not scheduling, automated workflows (Flows), public proposals, Zapier or QuickBooks. Those arrive on Premier at $55/month ($525/year). FreelancerFlow includes its booking page in the single $19/month plan, which is the main price gap for freelancers who book calls every week.

Can I actually use FreelancerFlow today?+

Yes. FreelancerFlow is now live, and we're personally onboarding our first founding members — email us at abdulazeem3255@gmail.com and we'll set up your account ($19/month flat, everything included). You can also explore the entire app first in the live demo: fully clickable, sample data, free, in your browser.

What does Dubsado do that FreelancerFlow doesn't (yet)?+

Several things: multi-step automated workflows, deeply customizable branded forms and client portals, live online payments with payment plans and autopay, Zapier and QuickBooks integrations, a mobile app, and a decade of production use. FreelancerFlow deliberately does five jobs; Dubsado does more. The question is whether the extra jobs are the ones you use.

Where do these prices come from?+

Dubsado's plan prices (Starter $35/month or $335/year; Premier $55/month or $525/year, rates effective December 1, 2025 for new subscribers) are from Dubsado's own official information page (dubsado.com/llm-info, updated July 2026), checked in November 2026. Plans and prices change — verify the latest on Dubsado's official pricing page before deciding.
